Maintenance Team Lead

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at W3Global Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and train a team of maintenance mechanics to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance and repair work on various manufacturing equipment and machinery, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment and machine issues and identify faulty components, making repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the maintenance team to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, sharing suggestions for resolution.
- Equipment Upgrades: Recommend necessary upgrades and modifications to increase efficiency and longevity of equipment and machinery.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance procedures such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role, preferably in the aluminum casting industry.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with an emphasis on industrial machinery.
- Tools and Equipment: Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery.
- Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
Exposed to heat, dust, fumes, and noise of the foundry floor. Must be able to bend, reach, lift, and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Must wear protective safety equipment, including respirators, SCBAs, gloves, and other protective clothing. Has exposure to chemicals. Must be able to climb up on ladders, equipment, and roofs as necessary. Occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.
