The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance tasks, performing minor repairs, maintaining the property's grounds, and responding to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance issues. They will also conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.
This role requires effective oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to lift 55 pounds independently and support team lifts with reasonable accommodations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and must live within 20 miles of the property.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and fixing leaky faucets.
- Perform minor repairs such as drywall patching, painting, and carpentry work.
- Maintain the property's grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and cleaning of common areas.
- Respond to tenant requests for repairs and maintenance issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and identify potential maintenance issues before they become major problems.
- A High School diploma or equivalent education required.
- Previous maintenance experience is essential.
- The position requires a general understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, and safety regulations.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive health coverage, retirement savings with employer contribution, bonus potential, paid time off (PTO), and company-paid holidays.
