Job Title: Pediatric Hospitalist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a key member of our hospitalist practice, you will provide exceptional care to newborns, children, and adolescents in our regional community children's hospital.

About the Role:
  • Provide inpatient care services to newborns, children, and adolescents, including admission, subsequent care, and discharge with in-house coverage 24/7.
  • Participate in emergency department consultation and surgical co-management.
  • Teach and evaluate Family Medicine residents, UNC medical students, and UNC PHM fellows.
  • Collaborate with a team of seven full-time hospitalists and five advanced practice practitioners to provide pediatric and newborn care.

Requirements:
  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Pediatrics residency in an accredited program
  • Board certification/eligibility in General Pediatrics and/or Hospital Pediatrics
