As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitation services to students with physical disabilities, working closely with educators and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of students' physical needs and develop comprehensive plans of care
- Provide physical therapy treatment and interventions to students, including exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic activities
- Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of physical therapy services into students' educational plans
- Document student progress and outcomes, and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants as needed
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy
- One year of prior professional Physical Therapy experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
