Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Partner with our corporate safety team to establish and drive a strong safety culture.
    • Collaborate with our project management team to maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion.
    • Serve as a steward of our company culture and values.
  • Fiber Splicing and Testing
    • Lead, coach, and develop our self-perform fiber splicing teams with a focus on safety and production.
    • Work closely with our National Director, Technical Services to establish project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that align with financial budgets.
    • Drive our fiber splicing teams to meet or exceed established safety and production KPIs.
  • Project Management
    • Direct and manage teams responsible for fiber splicing, testing, and project closeout.
    • Work with our construction managers to develop schedules for fiber splicing, terminating, and testing of our OSP fiber network.
    • Coordinate with project and construction managers to deploy resources into construction service areas to meet market schedule delivery.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Responsible for ensuring project fiber quality meets industry and customer standards.
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, residents, and jurisdictional officials.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience leading OSP fiber splicing and test teams.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of industry technology standards and safety practices.
  • Ability to work with electronic tools and automation.
