Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, and other facilities. This is a critical role that requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting, damp mopping, and sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, floors, and commodes.
  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing of patient room furniture, sitting rooms, and dining room furniture.
  • Removal and disposal of trash and recyclables.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to prevent injury and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must live in the service area.
