Role Summary: The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires expertise in refrigeration principles, pipefitting, and system layout.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service environmental control systems in various settings including residential and commercial properties.
  • Utilize hand tools and welding equipment to fabricate and install ductwork and components.
  • Connect motors, compressors, and controls to power sources and ensure proper functionality.
  • Conduct tests on systems, adjusting controls to maintain optimal performance.
  • Identify and repair issues with electrical components and refrigerant systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of two years in HVAC repair and maintenance.

Skills: Proficient in the use of hand and power tools relevant to HVAC tasks.

Certifications: Valid Driver's License, Journeyman HVAC Mechanic License, Universal EPA Certification.


Additional Information: This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities. The successful candidate will adhere to all company policies, including drug and alcohol testing protocols, and may be subject to background checks.
