Responsibilities

Job Summary

This role involves providing individual, group, and family counseling, as well as conducting clinical evaluations for both new and existing clients. The position requires a strong command of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices, along with maintaining effective communication with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver counseling services, develop treatment plans, and provide triage support
  • Facilitate family counseling sessions
  • Render clinical services to assigned clients and actively participate in team discussions
  • Ensure documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain effective communication with various departments
  • Comply with state regulations and facility standards
  • Safeguard patient and organizational confidentiality
  • Adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations
  • Assist in managing the patient community

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences (social work, counseling, or psychology)
  • Progressing towards licensure/certification in substance use disorders
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health
  • Background in substance abuse, addiction treatment, mental health, and cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and ASAM criteria
  • Ability to work with adult clients and psychotropic medications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements
