About the Role:
ZOLL LifeVest is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in training patients on the use and care of the LifeVest, a wearable cardioverter defibrillator designed to protect patients at risk for sudden cardiac arrest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact caregivers and family members to schedule services and ensure patient understanding and satisfaction.
- Travel to patient's homes and healthcare facilities to provide services, including training patients and caregivers on the use of LifeVest.
- Program LifeVest according to the prescribing physician's orders and measure patients to determine correct garment size.
- Review and have patients sign necessary paperwork, including the Patient Agreement and WEAR Checklist, and transmit signed copies to ZOLL within 24 hours.
- Manage device and garment inventory, and disclose any family relationships with potential referral sources.
Requirements:
- 1 year of patient care experience in a paid professional environment (not family caregiver).
- Patient experience must be documented on resume.
- Completion of background check, including level 2 screening for Florida and Ohio candidates.
- Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable).
- Valid driver's license and car insurance or valid state ID.
- Willingness to pay a $30 annual DME fee and additional vendor credentialing fees (if needed).
