Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to join our team in the Animation department. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach animation courses, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Animation or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of full-time equivalent professional experience in animation or a related field.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. Assignments may include teaching at the Valencia or Canyon Country campus, or other college locations. The adjunct salary rate is $88.30 per hour.
