Key Responsibilities- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics.
- Partner with patients and significant others to set and achieve goals, using effective communication and collaboration.
- Practice using current clinical practice standards and promote a culture of safety and excellence.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and research utilization to promote safe and quality patient care.
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population-specific education.
- Participate in data collection, pose relevant clinical questions, and consult experts to address practice questions.
- Associate's Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Minimum 1 year relevant, recent, acute care clinical nursing experience.
- Required certifications: Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact, Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor, Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ACLS - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional.
