Job Overview

The ACT Team Psychiatrist plays a pivotal role in the Assertive Community Treatment Team Program, overseeing the medical and clinical aspects of services provided to consumers. This position requires a strong psychiatric background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the ACT Team Leader and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to consumers
  • Perform liaison functions with referring agents to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide medical oversight of nursing and pharmacological services to ensure high-quality care
  • Work closely with the ACT Team Leader to monitor consumer status and response to treatment
  • Assist the ACT Team Leader in providing clinical supervision and regular case consultation to ACT Team members
