We are seeking a highly skilled Highway Engineer to join our team at Traffic Planning and Design. As a leading civil engineering firm, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions for our clients and communities.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to work on a variety of projects, including highway design, traffic signal design, and intersection design. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of project plans, specifications, and estimates
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver transportation infrastructure projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide cost estimates for capital improvement projects
  • Prepare and modify reports, specifications, and designs for projects
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with contract documents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
  • EIT, FE, or PE (not required, but preferred)
  • Knowledge of CADD software (MicroStation or AutoCAD or OpenRoad)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
