Nutrition Sales Specialist

This role is responsible for driving sales growth in the enteral nutrition market, focusing on hospitals, oncology, rehabilitation centers, and referral sources with enteral patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Enteral Nutrition Care: Provide comprehensive enteral nutrition care for home tube-fed patients and other medical nutrition-related activities.
- Referral Source Development: Identify and develop new referral sources to increase sales.
- Sales Performance: Meet predetermined sales targets from new referral sources each month.
- Vendor Engagement: Participate in vendor fairs, exhibits, and luncheons to promote Enteral Services.
- Education and Training: Conduct in-service training for referral sources on enteral equipment use and application.
- Patient Rights and Ethics: Recognize and respect patient rights during care provision and business interactions.
- Sales and Marketing: Work in a designated territory, tracking daily sales activity, promoting Enteral Services to physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitor patient response to care, actions taken, and outcomes.
- Community Education: Educate patients on enteral feeding for safe and effective use.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain market information through Sales Force.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve individual competence.
- Confidentiality: Obtain, utilize, and update patient information in a confidential and secure manner.
- Infection Control: Implement infection control practices to reduce infection risk in patients and staff.
- Logistics: Drive to admit, deliver, and pick up enteral formula, feeding pumps, and related supplies to patient homes or businesses.
- Customer Service: Listen to and resolve service complaints, set up merchandise displays, and issue sales promotion materials.
