Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Beacon Hospital Management. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:- Function as the Charge RN for assigned shifts, providing nursing care delivery systems and supervising the clinical program.
- Participate in planning, coordinating, and documenting total patient care with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Accurately report and record patient conditions and care, including signs and symptoms indicative of change.
- Prepare clinical/progress notes daily and incorporate into the clinical record weekly, and document monthly recertifications/Master Treatment Plan Updates in coordination with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living while teaching appropriate self-care techniques.
- Educate and supervise other healthcare personnel in providing continuity of care.
- Initiate and sustain the implementation of all physician orders.
- Complete, maintain, and submit accurate and relevant clinical notes.
- Participate in case conferences, in-services, and other programs and meetings as needed.
- Facilitate nursing psych-education groups as needed, ensuring complete and timely documentation of each group facilitated.
- Complete Nursing Health Screen for every new admission, communicating any issues/concerns with the physician.
- Assist with nursing Performance Improvement contributions to problem identification, investigation, actions, and monitoring of resolutions in effecting patient care and customer satisfaction systems.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the Plan of Care in coordination with other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Facilitate appropriate nursing action(s) in response to administrative directives and a changing healthcare environment.
- Participate, as directed by the DON, in the QAPI plan, Infection Control initiatives, risk management data collection, clinical chart audits, and ensure all deficiencies are clearly identified for compliance.
- Coordinate with ancillary support services: Dietary, Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Psychological Services, etc.
- Responsible for obtaining needed resources to address patient care needs, such as emergency medical treatment and transfers, medications, medical treatment, etc.
- Communicate to the physician when medical complications arise outside of the scope of hospital services, obtain orders from MD, and facilitate transfer of patient when applicable.
- Responsible for medication administration and ensuring all MD orders are followed and documented accordingly during the assigned shift.
