Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Washington County Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for collaborating with schools and staff to develop, implement, and assess behavior plans and learning strategies to support students in accessing instruction and making academic progress in the least restrictive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing ongoing support in one-on-one or small group settings.
- Provide job-embedded coaching and modeling regarding responses to behaviors.
- Establish, maintain, and oversee data measurement and collection systems for students receiving behavior interventions or adult support.
- Collect, summarize, and graph behavior data to create a data tracking system in partnership with technology.
- Create reports identifying the extinction of behaviors by school and program.
- Currently holds a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst or will complete all supervision hours and pass the BCBA test within the next six months.
- Experience working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, and/or intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent human relations and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data to determine appropriate measures.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Behavior Analyst working in a school setting.
- Experience working in a public school setting, especially at the elementary level.
- Eligibility for or current Maryland State Department of Education Administrator I or II endorsement.
