Job Summary:

The Cleaning Technician plays a crucial role in supporting remediation efforts for client contents. This position involves various tasks such as packing, moving, cleaning, deodorizing, and storing items. The technician will utilize specialized equipment and cleaning agents under supervision to ensure effective restoration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and care for equipment used in daily operations
  • Conduct dry and wet mitigation/pre-cleaning in accordance with established procedures
  • Assist in the manipulation of contents at client sites to facilitate remediation tasks
  • Implement inventory management for client contents following company protocols
  • Wrap and package items securely to prevent damage during transport
  • Load and unload contents from vehicles accurately
  • Transport items to the cleaning facility for thorough cleaning and storage
  • Comply with MSDS standards and safety regulations
  • Perform daily inspections and maintenance of vehicles
  • Adhere to company appearance guidelines and values

Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction, restoration, moving, or remediation preferred
  • Ability to identify product usage and disposal requirements with training
  • Must meet eligibility criteria to operate a motor vehicle
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and sense of urgency
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of customer service principles and practices

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting of items exceeding 100 lbs
  • Ability to navigate tight spaces

Working Conditions:

  • Daily operation of a motor vehicle for extended periods
  • Climbing in and out of vehicles and navigating stairs
  • Regular use of forklifts, power tools, and hand tools
  • Engaging in various physical activities including sitting, walking, bending, and lifting

Compensation: $19.00 per hour
