Why This Position is Important:
As an Electrical Field Service Scheduler, you will be integral to the success of our field service operations. Your skills will be pivotal in optimizing the scheduling and coordination of our Electrical Field Service Technicians, ensuring that every assignment is set up for success and that clients receive outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intelligent Scheduling: Align the appropriate Electrical Field Service Technicians with client requirements based on comprehensive descriptions from various communication channels. Collaborate with the Field Service Coordinator Assistant to manage administrative duties, including quotes, purchase orders, timesheets, and service documentation efficiently.
- Thorough Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records for each service request, ensuring all information is meticulously logged and updated.
- Resource Management: Evaluate each service request to determine if additional assistance from Helpdesk or engineering is necessary. Ensure technicians are equipped with all essential tools, software, and equipment for effective job performance.
- Flexible Adaptation: Respond swiftly to changes in scheduling to ensure technicians are effectively deployed while balancing their work-life needs.
- Analytical Insight: Review scheduling and workflow processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Client-Centric Support: Address daily client requests, including scheduling, emergency adjustments, and rescheduling, ensuring that client needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactive Conflict Resolution: Tackle scheduling conflicts and emergency cancellations promptly. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate client requirements and minimize disruptions.
- Effective Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with the Electrical Field Service Supervisor to keep them updated on client escalations and technician-related issues.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in Maintenance Scheduling/Planning or as a Field Service Dispatcher.
- Skills: Excellent communication and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Customer Service: A strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling software.
- Independence: Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Attention to Detail: A strong focus on detail and accuracy in all tasks.
