We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at CareNow in a part-time position. As a LPN, you will provide medical care to patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, performing EKGs, and administering IM injections as needed.
  • Managing patient charts, including collecting patient history and documenting electronic health records.
  • Applying splints, dressings, and bandages as required.
  • Assisting with check-in/check-out procedures, including auditing charts.
  • Maintaining records and logs on activities, such as in-house lab work and drug screens.
  • Keeping patients and visitors informed of clinic progress.
  • Ensuring occupational client preference cards are followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree from an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing.
  • Current Practical/Vocational nursing license in state of residency.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting, preferably in urgent care.
  • Experience using an electronic health record system.
  • The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
