Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled and experienced ICU Nurse Coordinator to provide leadership in our high-acuity environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical expertise and be able to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients.

  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Administer medications according to physician orders.
  • Lead the nursing team during designated shifts, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or possess compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire or transfer.
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
