Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant I Certified to provide exceptional patient care in our outpatient clinic setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering routine clinical and administrative support to providers and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform rooming and intake processes, collecting vital signs, medical and social history, and other relevant patient data.
  • Assist providers with treatments, examinations, and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient patient experience.
  • Collect and process specimens, perform phlebotomy, and administer medications under the direction of a provider.
  • Review patient records to determine routine health screenings and ensure exam/procedure rooms are adequately stocked and prepared.
  • Provide patients with after-visit instructions, follow-up care, and educational materials as directed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES preferred.
  • Medical Assistant certification by AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NRCMA, or NCMA required; Basic Life Support Certification from AHA or ARC also required.
  • Prior medical assistant or externship experience preferred.
