We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Program Manager to join our team at Leidos, a leading provider of innovative solutions for the government and highly-regulated commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement program plans, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of engineering design and development projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Line Management, Engineering, Services, and Manufacturing to understand customer requirements and drive program objectives.
  • Develop and manage program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, and subject matter experts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in program management, with a focus on hardware and software development.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to define requirements, estimate timelines, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Broad engineering background, with experience in analyzing design data related to electrical, software, mechanical, and physical science disciplines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all internal and external contacts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with Agile software development practices.
  • Hands-on design engineering experience with the development and production of electronics equipment for use in medical devices, government security, and/or military applications.
