Salary
We are offering a competitive salary of $25.00 per hour for this position. Additionally, we offer a certification bonus of up to $700 and quarterly bonuses of up to $500.
Job Description
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work. You will also diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computers when applicable. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
- Diagnose standard mechanical and electronic problems
- Identify root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required
- Replace defective components as instructed
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least two years of experience in a combination of classroom training and work experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines. A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A is preferred.
