We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Master Level to join our team at Ryder System. As a key member of our Truck Fleet team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on heavy duty vehicles, repairing complex mechanical and electronic problems, and interacting with customers/drivers to provide solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform standard vehicle maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems.
- Interact with customers/drivers to properly determine the nature of complaints.
- Instruct and advise other technicians regarding maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Vocational or technical certification preferred.
- Post-secondary degree or technical certifications, preferred.
- BASIC tools required.
- Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly pay: $34.28 per hour.
- Certification bonus of up to $700 Quarterly Bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 every quarter - four times per year.
- Sign-on bonus: Ryder pays $2500 at 30 days and $2500 at 90 days.
- Excellent benefits package.
