Job Summary:

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Trailer Loading Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading of trailers with products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough trailer inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper temperature, and readiness for loading.
  • Verify that all pallets are built according to specifications and are securely wrapped to prevent damage during transport.
  • Check header labels on all pallets and inspect for damaged or outdated products before loading.
  • Load trailers correctly, ensuring bulkheads are placed accurately and secured, and confirm load diagrams are completed and submitted.
  • Adhere to all safety work practices and maintain a clean and organized dock area.

Shift Schedule:

The Trailer Loading Specialist will work a rotating shift schedule, including:

  • Sunday: 5:30 PM until completion
  • Monday through Thursday: 6:30 PM until completion

Working Relationships:

The Trailer Loading Specialist will interact with various stakeholders, including:

  • Selectors
  • Leads/Supervisors
  • Drivers

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of one year of warehouse experience
  • Pallet jack certification
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to read load diagrams
  • Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Work Environment:

The Trailer Loading Specialist will work in a multi-temperature indoor/outdoor environment, with temperatures ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees.
