Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator - Front End Loader Specialist to join our team at Lehman-Roberts Company. As a key member of our asphalt paving team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, assisting with grading operations, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe and efficient work practices.

Responsibilities
  • Operate all sizes of front-end loaders, assisting with grading operations and providing support to the labor crew.
  • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks, advising the supervisor/shop of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
  • Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and ensure it is safely and securely stored.
  • Maintain inventory and follow instructions from crew foremen, leaders, managers, and state DOT inspectors.
  • Work collaboratively as a team with foremen, fellow crew members, and management to achieve project goals.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Valid unrestricted driver's license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a front-end loader.
  • Working knowledge of basic equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to work varied schedules, including day, night, and weekend shifts, and withstand extreme weather conditions.
Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors in extreme conditions, including hot, cold, high noise levels, and exposure to dust and fumes. The ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods is also required.
