Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing water-related infrastructure and other water resource facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering design with a focus on water-related infrastructure and other water resource facilities.
- Conduct site investigations and inspections, delivering detailed assessment reports.
- Generate design calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Support development of permitting-related documents.
- Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and interface with other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate projects with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide engineering support during construction.
- Assist in project management responsibilities, including budget and schedule tracking, invoicing, attendance at project meetings, and general correspondence.
- Participate in marketing efforts related to capturing new work, including lead generation and proposal writing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Master's Degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 8+ years of engineering design experience, required.
- Experience with water treatment design and wastewater engineering is beneficial.
- Experience with hydraulic modeling software, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Revit is desired.
- Extensive experience in municipal infrastructure design and permitting.
- Construction management and/or inspection experience is desired.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software (to include Word, Excel, Project) required.
