Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Irvine, California. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for expanding our services in Southern California, working closely with clients, public agencies, and contractors to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct business development and establish new contacts to expand our construction management services in the region.
  • Manage complex public works construction projects, including streets, highways, bridges, buildings, and water treatment facilities.
  • Represent Cannon Corp before public agencies, consultants, and contractors, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement construction management plans, scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Coordinate with public utility agencies, government agencies, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Perform reviews and implementation of CPM Schedules, ensuring timely project completion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Construction Management and Civil Engineering.
  • California P.E. license in Civil Engineering required.
  • Experience in management of client relationships, expanding CM services, and coordination with public utility agencies and government agencies.
  • Knowledge and experience in construction safety, earthwork, grading, drainage construction, streets, roads, and transportation structures.
  • Valid, clean driver's license as regular daily travel is required.
