About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team at Sapient Logic. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using industry-leading technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AWS.
  • Maintain and optimize existing cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for containerized applications.
  • Implement and manage security policies, including network policies, RBAC, and compliance protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy new software releases.
  • Provision and configure virtual machines, containers, and serverless functions as needed.
  • Develop automated scripts using Python, Ansible, or other tools to streamline cloud operations.
  • Ensure configuration management processes are up-to-date and documented.
  • Monitor cluster health, performance, and resource utilization using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years focused on cloud administration.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools, version control systems, CI/CD methodologies, and cloud providers.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and excellent communication skills.
  • AWS certification is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $150,000 - $165,000 per year.

Additional Details:

  • Full-time position.
