Restaurant Host/Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Restaurant Host/Cashier to join our team at Choctaw Resort Development Enterprise. As a key member of our dining team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests, escort them to their tables, and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
- Reservations and Seating: Verify reservations, seat guests according to established procedures, and distribute menus and explain food items.
- Communication: Answer telephones, make reservations, and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Problem Resolution: Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other restaurant personnel to maintain a smooth and efficient operation, including side work and opening/closing duties.
- Age and Gaming: Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred, with previous cash handling experience and POS system experience a plus.
- Testing and Certification: Must pass the Basic Math Test with 85% and complete C.A.R.E. certification before starting work.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with moderate to heavy physical demands. Associates must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
