Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at United Hospital. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.

Certification Requirements:
- BLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required as applicable
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required as applicable
- ARRT certification required as applicable

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
- First-time candidates are welcome to apply

Work Schedule:
- Weekend shifts required
- On-call responsibilities include 3-4 weekends during the contract period and one overnight call on weekdays

Floating and Scheduling:
- No floating to sister facilities
- Block scheduling is not accommodated

Local Candidates:
- Local applicants are accepted

Licensing:
- Pending state licenses are accepted

Time Off Restrictions:
- Ideally, no more than 5 days of requested time off

Guaranteed Hours:
- The client reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty
- On-call hours do not contribute to guaranteed minimum hours

Special Skills Required:
- Experience in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles is essential
- Familiarity with Epic and MacLab/Cardiolab systems is preferred
- BLS and ARRT certifications are mandatory

Daily Caseload:
- Expect a daily caseload of 16-24 cases per technologist

Unit Specialty:
- Focus on Radiology / Cardiology, with a primary emphasis on CV and Vascular procedures

Additional Information:
- Scrub color is provided by the unit
- Parking arrangements include validation for the first day only
- Night shift parking is complimentary in our designated ramp
- Various parking options are available for day/evening shifts.
