About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part Time Retail Store Associate to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Centric Experience: Provide a positive and engaging customer experience by acknowledging and engaging every customer, utilizing the selling program to promote sales, and maintaining awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
  • Store Operations Commitment: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhere to signage labeling and merchandise presentation standards, and follow established sorting and stocking guidelines.
  • Print and Tech Expertise: Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools, and continually educate yourself in print and technology areas.
  • Sales Techniques: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and support loss prevention efforts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use technology for information and documentation.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for establishing a selling relationship with clients and other associates.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation and process inventory.
