Job Title: Retail Sales Clerk

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Clerk to join our team at Smart Foodservice Stores LLC. As a Retail Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide fast, easy, and efficient service to customers, answering their questions and resolving any issues they may have.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and restrooms.
  • Restock shelves, process transactions, and perform other tasks as needed to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving shipments, counting stock, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assist with price changes, promotions, and other sales-related activities as needed.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including counting cash, processing transactions, and securing the store.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
  • Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays and weekends.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using general office equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
