About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Siemens Industry, Inc. in Broken Arrow, OK. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with quality leaders, engineers, and supervisors to conduct final inspections before shipments are released.
- Inspect products against drawings, schematics, route cards, and test specifications using various tools such as calipers and cameras.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accurately document records in the SAP Quality Management system.
- Assist with discrepancy and non-conformance reporting, analyzing metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Document and respond to shipping damage issues.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge through learning Siemens' production, safety, and inspection procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED required.
- Ability to travel up to 2% for off-site training or meetings.
- Proven electro-mechanical abilities gained through previous professional and/or academic experience, required to inspect the functional quality of Russelectric products.
- Punctual attendance required; second shift is 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Central Time; qualified candidates must be able to work during this time; ability to work overtime or weekends when needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment to check parts for compliance with engineering specifications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English required.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional partners.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience generating, tracking, and interpreting quality metrics preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings required.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 would be beneficial.
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience preferred.
- IPC 610 and 620 certifications would be a plus.
