**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Follow all infection control rules and regulations to prevent the spread of diseases and maintain a safe environment.
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.
  • Assist in the evacuation of residents in case of an emergency.
  • Work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel to achieve common goals.
  • Practice dependable, regular attendance and be flexible to provide cleaning services where needed.

**Requirements:**

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior cleaning or healthcare experience preferred, and we are happy to train.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs from floor to waist, lift 10 lbs from waist to shoulder, lift and carry 30 lbs, and push/pull 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of environmental services practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing environmental services functions in long-term care facilities.
