We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accurate reporting of the company's financial performance.
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets.
- Manage the company's general ledger and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
- Reconcile all accounts and prepare financial statements for review.
- Use QuickBooks to manage the company's financial transactions and reporting.
- Provide management accounting information and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Manage the financial aspects of residential landscaping projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- A CPA or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, audits, budgeting and forecasting, and management accounting.
- Knowledge and experience with residential landscaping.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial issues effectively and efficiently.
