VyStar Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new sales, retaining existing customers, and growing our overall book of business through our multiple product offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Generate New Sales: Develop and implement strategies to increase product awareness and drive sales growth.
- Retail and Cross-Sell Insurance Products: Sell and cross-sell Personal and Commercial insurance products via telephone, internet, and email, with a focus on rounding out existing accounts and ensuring all solutions and quotes follow our established guidelines.
- Build Rapport and Customer Satisfaction: Establish strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized solutions to meet their objectives.
- Exercise Responsive and Timely Follow-up: Respond promptly to customer inquiries, finalize sales, and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Recommend Solutions and Provide Product Options: Offer tailored solutions and product options to meet customer needs, including increased coverage and cross-sales/account rounding.
- Formulate Strategies to Increase Product Awareness: Develop and implement plans to increase product awareness and drive sales growth.
- Actively Solicit New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities outside of the office, at business establishments, and other locations to create and expand business networks.
- Active State Property and Casualty Licenses: Currently hold active State Property and Casualty licenses, specifically a 2-20 General Lines License or a 20-44 Personal lines license.
- Personal Lines Experience: Minimum 2 years of insurance-related experience, with a focus on personal lines.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel), internet, and other related computer applications.
- Agency Management and LMS Systems: Proficient in Agency Management and LMS systems.
- Commercial Experience: Commercial experience is a plus.
- General Knowledge of Insurance Departments: General knowledge of insurance departments, operations, terminology, and objectives.
- Continuing Education Hours: Employee must acquire necessary continuing education hours to maintain Designations/Certifications and/or Insurance Related License.
