Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades (MEP) to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop and implement work plans for major activities, ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Manage trade labor efficiently, with a working knowledge of union collective bargaining agreements (CBAs).
  • Monitor production and compare with as-bid goals, adjusting operations as needed to improve efficiency and track quantities.
  • Prepare weekly labor and equipment reports, verifying that all equipment is in working order.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education - High School or equivalent, Associate or BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Specialized knowledge in treatment plant construction.
  • Ability to comprehend plans and specs, general computer and math skills, strong communication, both verbal and written.
  • Must be willing to travel to jobsites in the five boroughs of New York and New Jersey.
  • Able to articulate job progress, problems, delays in meeting type settings.
  • Ability to delegate work & provide strong decision making & problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, CAD, Microsoft Project or Primavera, Heavy Job, Viewpoint, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience - 7+ years on an active construction jobsite.
