Data Scientist for Fleet Optimization

Are you passionate about using data to drive business decisions? Do you have a knack for analyzing complex data sets and identifying opportunities for improvement?

We're seeking a talented Product Data Science team member to join our Fleet Response and Monitoring initiative. As a key contributor to this team, you will work closely with Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that improve Waymo's fleet performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in Waymo's fleet response and monitoring systems.
  • Develop and deploy advanced analytics and modeling techniques to optimize Waymo's response to vehicle needs.
  • Create and maintain scalable reporting infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to design and build data infrastructure for Fleet assistance and monitoring.
  • Presents findings and recommendations to Waymo leadership.

The expected salary range for this position is $183,000—$232,000 USD. Waymo employees are also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and Company benefits program.
