Job Summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Windows Endpoint Systems Administrator to join our Enterprise Information Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing Windows systems patching, application packaging, and configuration deployment to systems that support critical business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, package, and deploy applications with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes on workstations
  • Create automated solutions to remediate desktop vulnerabilities using modern endpoint management tools
  • Investigate and resolve inconsistencies in reporting
  • Work directly with engineers, operations teams, and customers to remediate endpoint vulnerabilities
  • Incident response resolution and reporting (zero-day patching)
  • Perform fault-finding, analysis, and logging of information for reporting of performance exceptions
  • Proactively monitor system performance and capacity planning
  • Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
  • Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
  • Act as an escalation point for desktop support in incident management
Requirements
  • Six years of related experience with MECM
  • Experience administering endpoint management programs by updating and packaging software applications, and system configuration
  • Experience developing custom software package configurations and supporting scripts
  • Experience with MECM/SCCM patching and endpoint patch management
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux to include maintenance, security configuration, administration, and issue resolution
  • This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
  • This position will require a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Information Security
  • Experience with automation and orchestration using tools such as MECM, PowerShell, or Ansible
  • Experience identifying and developing automated solutions to improve efficiency
  • Experience administering Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune with co-management, Microsoft BitLocker
  • Experience with Mac MDM patching and endpoint patch management
  • Active Secret or TS/SCI Clearance
