Job Summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead our store team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for managing store operations, leading a team of sales associates, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and shrink reduction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and train a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve store appearance and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
