Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic equipment at plant and/or pump stations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic troubleshooting to determine repairs needed.
  • Estimate time and material costs for assigned projects.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance, lubrication, and minor adjustments on machines and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform manual labor, including cleaning equipment, facilities, and grounds as required.
Requirements:
  • High school or GED with the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Two to five years of experience in a related position in a similar environment.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Proficiency in the care and use of all site-specific, facility-required PPE.
Work Environment:
  • Spends 100% of the time in an operations environment.
  • Typically spends time exposed to outdoor and sometimes inclement weather.
  • May be exposed to possible operations hazards, including fumes, dust, toxic and caustic chemicals, noise, rotating machinery, high pressure, and hot and cold temperatures.
