Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at School Lane Charter School. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
• Order and manage food inventory, including perishable and non-perishable items
• Implement cost controls and inventory management systems
• Communicate effectively with school district officials and other stakeholders

Requirements:

• Food service experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to perform basic math and read recipes
• Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
