Culinary Specialist

About the Position:

The Nutrition Group is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at School Lane Charter School. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Order and manage food inventory, ensuring accurate accounting practices
Communicate effectively with school district officials and other stakeholders

Requirements:

Food service experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Ability to do basic math and read recipes
Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
