Role Expectations

As a member of the Eagle Ridge Academy faculty, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students throughout their educational journey. Compensation

The salary structure for this role is available on our website. Starting salaries for teachers with a bachelor's degree range from $52,000 to $73,000, while those with a master's degree can expect a starting salary between $56,000 and $79,000, with no cap on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Development: Collaborate with a team to create and implement tailored education plans for students.
  • Instructional Planning: Design and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
  • Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and evaluate instructional effectiveness.
  • Behavior Management: Utilize positive behavior strategies to foster an inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers and support staff to meet the needs of students with disabilities.
  • Parent Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and needs of students with disabilities within the educational community.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in special education.
  • Documentation: Keep accurate records of student progress and services provided.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
