Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Supply Specialist Lead to coordinate and arrange durable medical equipment for patients.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Coordinate and arrange medically necessary equipment for patients.
  • Collaborate with patients, physicians, site coordinators, practice managers, and clinical professional staff.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while administering DME products under the direct supervision of pharmacists.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of DME and supplies.
  • Report any issues to administrator/site coordinator/practice manager.
  • Achieve adherence to center policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to administrator/site coordinator as needed.
  • Participate in clinical in-service activities and committee meetings as assigned.
  • Be available to provide assistance to other staff members when necessary.
  • Perform monthly DME duties according to the DME manual.
  • Orient and deliver in-services as directed by the administrator.
  • Promote excellent communication, cooperation, and customer service to patients, coworkers, and medical staff to ensure client satisfaction with the DME program.
  • Support administrator/site coordinator in quality assurance, utilization review, program evaluation, infection control, and safety committee activities.
  • Supervise other DME employees.
