As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with treating Speech Therapy Assistants to ensure timely and consistent collaboration.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in departmental processes and special projects, contributing to continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Assume primary responsibility for patient plans of care, ensuring timely and consistent collaboration with treating Speech Therapy Assistants.
  • Document patient progress, evaluations, and treatment plans in electronic medical records, adhering to departmental policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide educational materials and methods appropriate to patients' levels of understanding and motivation.
  • Participate in committees, departmental processes, and special projects, contributing to professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Speech Pathologist License in the State of Illinois.
  • Current BLS within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred: Current certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility following completion of the Clinical Fellowship year.
