Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, and construction personnel to align project schedules with project objectives and milestones.
  • Identify and resolve schedule conflicts, delays, and constraints by analyzing critical path activities and float, and propose adjustments to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor and report project progress through regular updates and schedule performance metrics, ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct risk analysis to identify potential scheduling impacts and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular schedule status updates, forecasts, and reports to project stakeholders and senior management.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining resource-loaded schedules to ensure appropriate allocation of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards, procedures, and best practices related to project controls and scheduling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project scheduling, with a focus on capital projects in chemical manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, earned value management, and critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
