Job Title: Patent Support Specialist

Join our team as a Patent Support Specialist and contribute to the success of our Intellectual Property Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our patent filing and prosecution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the IP Operations team, including tasks such as making photocopies, sorting and filing mail, and preparing FedEx packages.
  • Scan, download, and save various documents and route correspondence into electronic files.
  • Prepare, obtain signatures, and record patent-related forms with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
  • Perform word processing and Excel spreadsheet functions, including documents, graphs, tables, and database retrieval.
  • Handle other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or IP Operations Leadership Team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a legal environment (either law firm or in-house legal department).
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read, understand, and extract relevant information accurately from legal documents.
  • Quick learner with confidence to ask questions.
  • Strong oral, written, and organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrates integrity and honesty in all matters.
