About the Role:
The Director of Nursing (DON) is a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to deliver exceptional care
- Develop and implement nursing department budgets and policies
- Collaborate with doctors, residents, and family members to ensure resident health and well-being
- Implement new procedures and train staff on policies and best practices
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a DON or ADON in long-term care
- Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing in the State of Florida
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment (PointClickCare)
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
